Our Timber Panel Aquarium Cabinet is designed for aquarists seeking a strong, well-built cabinet while maintaining a budget-conscious approach. Supplied in raw timber form, these cabinets provide an excellent foundation for customers who wish to paint, varnish, or customise the finish themselves.

Built entirely in-house at our Brendale workshop, alls components are processed & assembled in house. From the structural timber subframe through to the doors and panels, each cabinet is manufactured using proven woodworking techniques and proper joinery methods to ensure long-term strength and durability.

We use 70 x 35mm solid New Zealand Pine for the subframe. Combined with quality construction methods and timber checkouts, this creates a cabinet capable of supporting large aquariums and the equipment that comes with them.

The cabinet incorporates a sturdy internal floor and open-back design, allowing it to comfortably accommodate sump systems, complete sub tanks, XL canister filters, plumbing, and electrical equipment while providing excellent ventilation and access.

All doors are fitted with quality soft-close hinges for a premium feel and smooth operation. The doors and side panels are manufactured from veneered MDF and can be removed and replaced if required, helping extend the life of the cabinet and allowing damaged panels to be easily replaced without rebuilding the entire unit.

As this product is supplied in raw timber form, customers are required to fully seal all exposed surfaces with a suitable paint, varnish, or protective coating before use. Staining alone is not sufficient. Proper sealing is required to maintain the longevity of the cabinet and preserve warranty coverage.
