Our Classic Aquarium range is designed for the price-conscious aquarist, yet designed & built with the experience of time-tested hobbyists. Each tank is handcrafted and expertly constructed here in Brisbane, Australia, using brand new float glass and high-quality, purpose-specific silicone. Every aquarium meets our strict safety factor of at least 2.2, ensuring peace of mind and long-term reliability.

The Classic range features full cross-bracing at the top of the aquarium for exceptional structural strength and durability. Bridges are positioned at a minimum of every 600mm to provide added support. Practicality in the details: 2 part sliding glass lids are notched out at the corners to accommodate cords and filtration pipes. For added protection, we include black corner strips on vulnerable edges where needed.

This Aquarium –

A medium to large sized aquarium (approx. 335 litres) which starts to provide a fair amount of space for aquascaping potential. Its size supports more diverse stocking options, making it suitable for both freshwater and saltwater enthusiasts.

Freshwater

• medium to large schools of tetras, rasboras, danios, or barbs
• A pair or small group of dwarf cichlids, angelfish, or discus
• Gouramis (e.g., pearl, opaline, or dwarf varieties)
• Corydoras, loaches, catfish & medium plecos (e.g., bristlenose, clown pleco)
• Livebearers (guppies, mollies, platies, swordtails)
• Rainbowfish or other medium community fish

Saltwater (with proper equipment & some added features)

• Clownfish (pairs or small groups)
• Gobies, blennies & firefish
• Small wrasses & dwarf angelfish
• Reef-safe invertebrates (shrimp, snails, hermit crabs)
• Soft & LPS corals, with potential for SPS (experienced keepers)

With generous volume and dimensions, this aquarium is ideal for creating more complex aquascaping, lush planted tanks, reef systems, or specialised biotopes. It offers a great balance of display impact and manageable maintenance for keen aquarists.

All of our classic aquariums come with a styrofoam foam base to suit.
