We offer pickup & collection from our workshop / showroom.
Because aquariums, stands and related equipment are large, heavy and fragile, all pickups are by appointment only.
Once your order is ready, Aquariums Brisbane will contact you to:
- Confirm your order details
- Allow time for safe preparation and handling
- Arrange a suitable collection date
- Arrange a morning, midday or afternoon collection time slot
Please do not arrive for pickup without a confirmed appointment, as we may not be able to assist you without prior notice.
Preparing for Collection
Customers are responsible for arriving with:
- A vehicle or trailer suitable for the size and weight of the order.
- Adequate padding and protective materials
- Suitable restraints and securing equipment
Recommended items include ratchet straps, moving blankets, cardboard, foam and other suitable packing materials.
Aquariums Brisbane can supply foam to protect the base of the aquarium and can assist with lifting and loading using our available equipment.
This assistance is provided as a courtesy and in good faith.
During busy periods, we may not be able to provide complete assistance with packing and securing the order. Customers should arrive prepared and remain responsible for packing and securing their order for transport.
Loading Assistance
Any assistance provided by Aquariums Brisbane with loading or securing your order is offered in good faith as a courtesy.
The customer remains responsible for the suitability of their vehicle, loading method, packing materials and transport arrangements.
Professional Delivery Service
Customers who would prefer Aquariums Brisbane to manage the transportation process may arrange our paid professional delivery service.
Our experienced team will plan the transport, provide appropriate equipment and assume responsibility during the delivery process. Our professional delivery service is covered by our applicable business and transport insurance arrangements.
Inspection at Collection
Before leaving the warehouse, customers will be asked to inspect their aquarium and all included items.
Customers must complete and sign the Aquariums Brisbane Pickup Inspection & Acknowledgement Form confirming that the order:
- Is complete
- Matches the agreed specifications
- Has been received in good visible condition
Any visible damage, missing items or concerns should be recorded on the form before the order leaves the warehouse.
